Julie's K9 Day Spa is located at 311 Jakobi Road, in beautiful Castleton, Ontario. Owner Julie Heenan has been a K9 stylist since 1985, trained by a former president of the Canadian Dog Groomers Association. Julie also has 17 years experience as a veterinary assistant and has breeding and show top quality miniature and toy poodles since 1998. Julie's K9 Day Spa is located in Julie's home in the quiet, peaceful countryside.

Because grooming is a vital key to your dog's health, Julie's K9 Day Spa believes grooming should be a pleasant experience, not a feared and stressed one. What makes Julie's K9 Spa unique is the treatment your dog(s) receives the moment they walk through the door. The absence of a shop full of barking dogs is the biggest difference. Excessive barking creates an anxious and stressed atmosphere for any dog. For this reason there is no more then two dogs at a time in the spa area. Most times it is just your dog(s) alone. Appointments are booked as you would your own hair appointment, to allow individual pampering.

Although Julie mostly caters to small-medium sized dogs, large dogs will be accepted based on certain stipulations. Sorry, no cats.

Prices and Policies

Prices:

We cannot give you a definitive price without seeing your dog in person, please call us for an estimate. Price will increase due to condition of coat and temperament of your dog. We do not demat coats.

All grooming prices include ear treatment, nail trim, and a bath. Anal gland by request and only if easily expressed.

Polices:

No Shows take money from our pockets as well as take time away from another client that may have been happy to book. A No-Show fee of $25 will be added to your next grooming fee. We require 24 hrs notice for all grooming cancellations. If you No-Show twice then you will need to pre-pay your next appointment, including the No-Show fees.

If fleas are seen on your pet then an automatic flea bath will given. Extra pricing will apply.

We ask that you please excercise your pet before bringing them for their grooming appointment to reduce the chance of bathroom accidents ruining your pet's completed groom.

If your pet is not feeling well, vomiting or any diarrhea PLEASE do not bring your pet to his/her appointment. Please call and we will rebook when pet is better. Short notice cancellatios are accepted for this reason.

Other short notice cancellations will be accepted for individual cases.
